The assignment was to choose a song and make three separate panels with the some of lyrics to that song. We had to incorporate the lyrics into the theme of the panels. We also had to make sure the lyrics stand out and we couldn’t use to much picture, don’t mix cartoons with photographs. Also the panels should match in a way that is not all over the place.
I choose the song All THAT I GOT by the Used. The first panel has a deep staircase; with a bloody handprint that drips down to the next floor were there is a puddle blood. The second panel has a woman falling down in to a deep sleep. That is repeated 4 times, the back round is blurred. The third panel has a tree as the background, there is a woman walking towards a bloody hand holding a rose. I used the easer, blending options for the words the magnetic lasso, the magic wand and the liquid filter.
I choose the images that most reminded me of that song. The mood I crated was pain and depression; I crated that by getting images that reflect pain, and depression. I have this one picture where there is a hand that is holding a rose and pressing it to his/her skin. Another one of my picture is a woman falling in pain. Even the words the way I blended them make the whole thing come together the words explain the image.
